Pause before Christmas

December has a way of gathering pace.

The lists get longer, the days get fuller, and it becomes harder to find even a moment for yourself. It’s no wonder we’re all overwhelmed. 

Light a Candle for Christmas is a gentle invitation to stop for a while.

  • To soften.

  • To breathe.

  • To ground

This is your opportunity to come home to yourself. 

This 75-minute online gathering offers a simple but powerful pause, and a space to return to your own inner light.

What to Expect

A gentle welcome

We’ll begin with a soft introduction to the practice, so your body and mind can settle before we move into stillness.

A candle meditation

You’ll be invited to light a candle and take part in a soothing guided meditation inspired by an ancient Buddhist tradition of shining light.

Reflection and sharing

There will be space to notice where the warmth settled in your body, and only if you chose, share your experience with the group.



Simple practices for peace over Christmas

You’ll leave with small, grounding rituals to weave into the season whenever you see a candle.
